As a wedding photographer, Fraser River Lodge is genuinely one of my favourite venues to photograph in the Fraser Valley. I’ve captured multiple weddings here, and when Mount Cheam is out, the views are absolutely incredible. It’s such a striking backdrop and adds so much depth and scale to your wedding celebration. And on those overcast or rainy days? No stress at all. Even when the mountain tucks itself into the clouds, the property is so beautiful that there are still endless options for great photos (and honestly if its raining, that’s what clear umbrellas are for). From a photography standpoint, the layout of this venue can't be beat. There’s a really nice mix of open flower fields, forested areas along the dyke trail, epic Mount Cheam, the bison, and cozy lodge spaces that are perfect if the weather turns really stormy. Everything flows naturally without ever needing to leave the property, which makes the day feel relaxed and unrushed from start to finish. The reception space itself is fantastic, it is warm, inviting, and large enough to get down on the dance floor while still feeling intimate. It photographs beautifully, especially once the party gets going. One of the biggest perks of Fraser River Lodge is the on-site lodging. Having your closest family and friends staying right there keeps everyone together and truly extends the celebration. It creates such a fun, connected atmosphere and makes the entire wedding weekend feel extra special. I also can’t say enough good things about the team at Fraser River Lodge. The staff are truly phenomenal- professional, organized, and genuinely attentive, which makes a huge difference on a wedding day. Their in-house catering is excellent and always a standout. It’s hands down one of my favourite wedding dinners every season. If you’re looking for a Fraser Valley wedding venue with beautiful scenery, incredible food, and a team that truly cares about the experience they’re creating, Fraser River Lodge is a wonderful choice and an amazing place to celebrate your love story.

My husband and I were married at Fraser River Lodge in November, and the entire experience was incredible. We wanted a venue where our friends and family could stay for a couple of days, and the Lodge offered several comfortable lodging options for our guests. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and found them clean, cozy, and relaxing. My family stayed in the Outpost, which was perfect for hosting a large family dinner the night before the wedding. The space is generous, and we loved that every room has its own ensuite. The Lodge staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to emails and questions. The getting-ready rooms provided an ideal space for hair, makeup, and photos. Our day-of coordinators were efficient and kept everything on schedule without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. The venue’s natural beauty is breathtaking, and our guests loved watching the bison roam across the fields. The food was outstanding—from the lunch provided in the getting-ready rooms to the late-night snack. Guests are still raving about the prime rib and spinach gnocchi. We had an amazing time celebrating our wedding at Fraser River Lodge. We were sad to leave but are already planning to return for our anniversary next year!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding at Fraser River Lodge. Although it can be pricey, you really get what you pay for. They deliver on everything that is in your chosen wedding package and they are very responsive, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire process. The venue itself is gorgeous with a scenic mountain backdrop that hard to find elsewhere. The amenities were luxurious with beautiful lodge rooms and a bridal suite and games room for your wedding party. The food was outstanding and our guests could not stop raving about it. We also appreciated the bar service and selection of drinks. The staff was incredibly helpful on the day of the wedding, supporting us with the schedule of events, AV needs, and decor set-up support, along with ensuring the food and drink service went smoothly. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this venue. However, we felt the check-in times for on-site accommodations were too late. This left our guests feeling rushed to get ready before the ceremony and with less time to spend in the bridal room and games room with us. There was also confusing communication around the payment process for on-site rooms. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a picture-perfect wedding with outdoor and indoor capabilities. Their professionalism and customer service took a lot of stress out of our wedding planning, leaving us to simply focus on the personalized details and crafting moments important to us.

We had our wedding at Fraser River Lodge, and it was absolutely incredible. From the stunning mountains to the amazing staff, everything was perfect. The team was so accommodating and helpful whenever we needed anything, which made the entire day completely stress-free. Everything was well organized, ran smoothly, and felt so seamless that we didn’t even notice setups happening behind the scenes. The lodge has so many different accommodation styles, from individual rooms, to a large house. The hot tubs were an added bonus. :) We loved having all of our guests stay onsite with us and not having to worry about driving home. The lodge being pet-friendly was a huge bonus for me. It meant my three dogs could be apart of our special day. Also, the food was outstanding, from the getting-ready snacks to the late-night bites. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding and would highly recommend Fraser River Lodge to anyone considering it for their big day.

Engaged for five years, two kids (and a dog) and an entire decade together later… we finally said I do. When we started looking at venues, I remembered my co-worker’s photos of Fraser River Lodge. Shortly after, we drove out to see it — and I knew instantly we didn’t need to look any further. Taylor and Paige made the entire planning process feel effortless and ensured our day was absolutely flawless. They were always prompt in answering questions and so patient throughout every step of planning. My mother-in-law, who set up all my décor, was equally impressed with the staff — they even made sure she had a drink in hand while she worked. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the incredible service, amazing food, stunning views, and beautiful accommodations. A special shoutout to Scott for giving my kids feed for the chickens (and sending us home with fresh eggs!), the bar staff for crafting specialized cocktails that were both delicious and made fast, Ishwar for bringing such a fun, warm energy while serving us as we got ready, and Marina for excellent service. Everything was seamless, welcoming, and beyond what we imagined. We truly cannot wait to come back to enjoy the food, the hot tub, and those breathtaking views all over again. If you chose this for your venue, you will have your picture perfect day! The Bison are a bonus too!

We had our wedding at Fraser River Lodge on 11.09.2025 and it was truly unforgettable. The entire experience, accommodations, food and drinks, staff, venue/grounds, and wedding coordinators were flawless from start to finish. Wedding Coordinators: Paige & Taylor were incredible. They handled every detail, every vendor, every question, and went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony and reception matched our exact vision. Our day ran perfectly because of them and we are so grateful. Food + Drinks: Outstanding. Guests are still talking about it! We had the Angus Prime Rib and many said it was the best they’ve ever had! Every bite throughout the day was amazing, lunch in the suites, charcuterie at cocktail hour, buffet dinner and desserts, and the late-night snack. You can taste the quality and care they put in. Staff / Servers / Bartenders: Absolute rockstars. They handled setup, serving, clearing, drinks, shots, cleanup, all with professionalism and smiles. They checked on our guests and made sure we (Bride & Groom) had everything we needed all night. Venue & Grounds: There truly is no place like this. The mountains and bison views are breathtaking, and the lodge is the perfect mix of rustic/luxury. We stayed for three nights and every accommodation was perfect: • The Outpost — huge, clean, modern, kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware needed to prepare meals, perfect for our rehearsal dinner. • Bison Suite (Honeymoon Night) — worth every penny. Private hot tub overlooking the mountains and bison, heated toilet, huge shower, extremely comfortable bed. • The Homestead — perfect size for family with a big deck, private hot tub, great kitchen and high-end appliances. Lodge Rooms for Guests: Everyone loved being able to stay on-site. Convenient, comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Fraser River Lodge gave us the wedding of our dreams. If you are considering this venue... say yes! You will not regret it. The team, the food, the service, and the environment are unmatched. 5 ⭐ Thank you, FRL, for the best weekend and the perfect start to our marriage. We will be back in the future, to celebrate anniversaries or just a quick weekend away to Rest, Relax, and Recharge!

We just had our Wedding at Fraser River Lodge in December of 2025, and I cannot say enough incredible things about this place! The staff and wedding coordinating team were incredibly communicative, helpful, and patient as we navigated all the little details of what we wanted our Wedding to be. The bartenders, servers, and all the other staff were all very kind & attentive to our guests. All our family & friends were blown away with how amazing the service was the entire week! We had guests staying onsite at Fraser River Lodge for a few nights, and the closeness of everything truly made it feel like our own little private getaway with family & friends. The views are unlike anything you'll see anywhere else, the animals roaming gives for a unique sense of entertainment, and all of the amenities were aesthetically pleasing with a modern, mountainy, cozy feel. This was by far our favorite week spent celebrating with family & friends, and we are so grateful we chose Fraser River Lodge to spend our favorite days at! We cannot say thank you enough to the entire FRL team - and we can't wait to come back and visit for more relaxing getaways, reliving the most beautiful wedding day.
